Prince Uche Arthur
Speaking on IPONTEX SEMINAR 1: Print on Textile Business in Nigeria: Challenges & Prospects Prince Arthur Uche, is the founder of Beyond Clothing Nigeria. He is a law graduate from University of Jos. In 2003 he attended the Nigerian Law School Enugu campus and was called to bar in 2004. He is also an alumnus of the Enterprise Development Centre, Pan African University Lagos.
After his NYSC program, he practiced law for about a year, and then left it to pursue his passion in Fashion and garment production. His journey in the apparel business began when he enrolled as an apprentice in a garment manufacturing factory to learn garment construction and pattern making. In 2006 he teamed up with Ebele Enunwa to register Beyond Clothing as a business entity. Since 2007 when the company launched out fully, he has built a team of young and vibrant people who through their initiative and resilience have moved the business from a small business with just two employees to a business that now employs about a hundred and fifty people, with customers spread across Nigeria.
